It is often said of autistic people that they are overwhelmed by feelings.
And it is often said of Aspies (Autistic Asperger's) that we lack a sense of feelings, particularly awareness of the feelings of others. But, that is not true.
I can be articulate about thoughts and ideas, in words and other gestures, but scarcely at all about feeling and never convincingly, because feeling saturates me and everything within me while words float superficially. That is often why Aspies stumble or get anxious in conversation, because of saturation and not because of absence. Words cannot describe this feeling, and neither can they name it well.
Most who hear us talking to each other are surprised at what seems almost telepathic connection. Conversations made of simple clues and subtle gesture are like sharing the meanings found in ocean waves. We know it in each other. We often recognize it walking in the streets. But it is difficult for us to match our actions to other people’s understanding. Is this feeling different from what you mean?
You say, “When we are coming from our open heart, it becomes much easier to do what is best for all and not just for one.” What would help us do this better? I notice I write 'feelings' but you write 'feeling.' How are these different?
Hello B.E. I didn’t know you were an Aspie. My youngest daughter has four children and the three boys are autistic. Her oldest, Will, is 26 and he’s an Aspie. I understand quite a bit about how they think and how they communicate.
My tea leaves of an unusual kind, seem to say something is afoot, and has been for while now; and things are about to change or become public that will wildly and dramatically change this. Tea lives like photos of people and their faces today, and five, ten, and 15 years ago, that do not add up! I’m just sayin’ is all. There’s a new sheriff around whom I believe we have yet to even see. It's all about incentives to do truly good things, it seems -- some for, some against. Nearly everyone we all see today is NOT what they appear to be, and I find that shocking and disorienting to an extreme. So much of what I see has clear earmarks of fabricated theater!
Thanks for the restack, Robert Cosmar. 💋💋💋

It all makes perfect sense, Tom, and who knows, maybe someday we’ll adopt a universal healthcare system. It would be great.
I agree.

Hello B.E. I hate to admit this, but I haven’t a clue what you are talking about with tea leaves and all.
Could you be specific please?
