I’ve been always told that if you have never experienced something you won’t experience it in a dream. For example, if in the dream you were shot or hit by a car and were about to die, you would wake up. Would this be considered a difference between dreams and visions ?

Hello Ken. It has been my experience that dreams are more for entertainment. We can fly, see monsters, be chased by a tiger, and yes, if we're about to be hit by a car, we'll wake up, or if we are falling, we'll wake up, etc.

Visions are purposeful. There is a reason. They might bring precognizant messages (things that have, or will happen), and other messages from the Universe, say for instance, showing you how to do something you've never done, but will have to, they may show you a past life, give you a visitation with someone who has died, or introduce you to a spirit guide (like mine did).

Visions are also more realistic than dreams. You can feel, taste, smell, feel pain, unlike dreams.
