CJ, I have experienced similar 'growth spurts' Now I patiently wait for the next, which will happen when I am ready. Good for you! D

Are you a practicing meditator, Dave? Where has your spurt brought you so far? If you are interested, Robert and I do a Saturday morning YouTube live stream for 1 to 2 hours on “Wisdom for Those Awakening”.

Robert and I are live and the guests are able to type questions, or their conversations into a chat-like area that we read and answer. it’s all real time.

If you would like to know more, get the link, etc., just let me know, ok? I can get the information for you. I would love to have you join us!

CJ, now I understand more about what you were trying to tell me on Saturday morning.

Oh Kathleen, I’m so pleased! If you ever want to discuss more, or if I can possibly help in any way, please feel free to message me. I know the Saturday live stream is a busy place and both Robert and I try to answer everyone, but some questions deserve longer answers. We are working on that. Maybe a two-hour live stream instead of one. Also we’re looking into a program where we can invite several guests and everyone can actually talk instead of typing. We’ll let everyone know when we decide anything. Take care!

My favorite meditation takes place outdoors, where I listen to the birds and the soothing sounds of nature in the background. When I meditate inside, I enjoy music, but it has to be the right kind. I haven't tried meditating on color yet, but I believe it could help me relax and enter a deep, reflective state.

Hello Charlotte. It’s always nice to hear from you! There are so many different ways to meditate. It’s very personal. When most people find a way that works, they tend to stick with it.

Thank you for taking time to comment and for restacking this post.

Looks like maybe not the quiet but if you found your zone in falling asleep at night maybe it was darkness you needed more than silence. 🤔 Just thinking out loud.

Thank you for thinking out loud, quietly, or just thinking-thinking, Ken. I appreciate the time you take to connect with me.

My zone actually is the light blue that fills my inner vision. Oh I start out the same every time I want to meditate. I quiet everything and from my center I allow the silence, but it’s the pale blue that fills my vision after I’m in the silence that shows me I’m Home and in the Oneness.

Please share with me your steps in meditation.

Believe it or not, I’m not a meditator. It’s not that I don’t think or reflect, but it seems to happen when it happens. I might be walking or riding through the country or sitting in the woods. One thing I do know though is that music is generally a central part of it. Kind of like when you would put the tv on and go to the other room.

One thing now too is my mind is totally over zapped. Too much thinking….too much stressing and too much anxiety. At this moment, I’m thinking I need a little bit less hard thinking and a little more cleansing.

I understand, Ken. If I’ve learned anything, I’ve learned that everyone’s human journey is different even though all roads lead to the same knowing and Home. There is only one truth. I believe our journeys are different so we can all compare our journey of human experience and it’s all part of the oneness of the universe. We’re all different and we travel alone in each of our lifetimes, but we are all one in our conscious awareness.

If I may make a suggestion … over-zapped, over-thinking, stressing and anxiety are all reasons why meditation is the answer you may be needing. It’s the way of disconnecting from the mind and the emotions and enter into an expanded consciousness. At the very least you will find you can stop the noise of thoughts and emotions and come away feeling peaceful.

Just my thoughts for a friend I care about …

Thanks. As I was typing that exact thought came to mind. I’ve got a couple of appointments tomorrow. We’ll see how things change after.

You've probably seen Robert's notices in your feed about the live feed we do on Saturday mornings for an hour, maybe longer, starting promptly at 10 a.m. It's on YouTube and geared to people on their way to a deeper awareness, but pretty much anything goes that you may have a question about.

If you're interested, please let me know and I will give you the link and more background. It's free, by the way.
