Well, with the way you’re looking at it: “What’s the point of living, if we are going to die?” Then yes, what IS the point?
The truth is, it doesn’t happen that way … and no, I’m not going to give you a bunch of religious BS as a coping mechanism.
The big challenge comes when you take “We live” and then add 85 to 95 years before you get to the “We die” part.
You can choose to fill those 85 to 95 years with whatever you want to put there — or not.
You can be selfish and do nothing for anyone but yourself. Or, you can reach out and be someone who cares for others. But you have to at least like yourself to do either one. I can almost guarantee you’ll like yourself a whole lot more if you decide to reach out and do something for other people.
Whether there is anything good between the “We live” and “We die” it’s totally up to you. Fill it up and use it well, or throw it all away. You decide.
The point is, “live or die”, the choice is entirely up to you ...
