It’s never a good idea to interfere with the beliefs of friends or other people. Beliefs may be all they can understand and hold onto at the moment. They won’t appreciate you pushing something they aren’t ready to hear.
They will have to learn in their own time that beliefs are merely a crutch the mind uses to stand on for support. It’s the nature of the mind to see things one-sided and to look outwardly at the effects of things and form conclusions.
The mind cannot heal itself, or realize the nature of our true self. We cannot ‘think’ our way to knowing and awareness. Mind never satisfies or brings to conclusion a thought or idea which must not be surrendered to other thoughts or ideas. It lacks the one element to feel complete --that is the heart with feelings.
Feelings originate in the heart and lead to knowing and an understanding of self. Feelings come naturally and they place us in touch in a way the mind cannot. Mind is not accustomed to that.
The believer will learn over time, or maybe even lifetimes, that beliefs cannot lead to truth. Feelings provide inner intimacy and reveal our true knowing self. The mind has to yield to the feelings to learn forgiveness and allow acceptance.
Truth is the recognition and expression of our own true self without the pretense or façade of beliefs.
Namaste.

It's amazing how beliefs separate us. For example, some of us won't associate with people who have different beliefs from us. Different political parties, different religions. We humans find all kind of ways to separate us from our neighbors. Too bad. So much judging.
Hi C.J, yes, beliefs are thoughts of the mind and feelings are intuition… sometimes when people are too caught up in thinking, as you say, they cannot ‘feel into listening’, which is how l term tapping into the wisdom that is already in us.❤️😊🎄🤶. Trust you’re having a good day 😊
